The Race

  • Saturday July 27, 2024
  • Description: Fifteenth annual running of the Frenzy in the Forest trail running race in Sunapee NH.  A moderate trail run to benefit the Sunapee Middle High School Track & Field program.  Enjoy scenic mountain vistas, single-tracks, downhills, and varied terrain in the beautiful Webb Forest.
  • Start / Finish Location: Harding Hill Road Sunapee, NH
  • Start Time: 9:00 am
  • Distance: 4.5'ish mile trail run 
  • Age Groups: Male & Female  -- 11 and Under, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ 
  • Awards: All participants are eligible for the extensive raffle of prizes from our sponsors.

  • From the North: I-89 South to Exit 12A Georges Mills. Bear right onto Old Springfield Rd continue .6 miles and turn right onto Route 11. Follow Route 11 for 6 miles and turn left onto Route 103, after 2.5 miles turn left on to Harding Hill Road.  Look for race signs.
  • From the South: I-93 to I-89 and Exit 9 onto Route 103 West. About 20 miles from there, you come to the Sunapee Circle. One mile West of there is Harding Hill Road on the right.  Look for race signs.
  • From the West: Take Rt 11 east through Claremont heading towards Newport.  At the second set of lights, Rite Aid on the right and Irving gas station on the left, turn left on to Rt 10 then bare right at Hubert's continue onto Rt 11.  Follow Rt 11 into Sunapee.  Stay Right after T-Birds onto Rt 103. After 2.5 miles turn left on to Harding Hill Road.  Look for race signs.
